Where did your rugby playing career start and when? 

Right here at Weavering last season! I wanted to try the game I’ve always enjoyed watching and was encouraged to come along and give it a go

What do you love most about rugby? 

That you can go to war with someone and still shake hands and have a beer after. It’s a community and a gentleman’s game

What do you love most about Weavering Warriors RFC?

From the first day I attended training I was made to feel welcome. The guys spoke to and treated me like I’d been mates with them for years and included me in everything right from the start, so I instantly made some really good mates

Who is your favourite rugby player of all time, and why? 

Jonny Wilkinson. His dedication, skill and impact on every game he played set him apart from all others. He brought out the best in his team mates and sucked the confidence from his opponents. A class act
