End of an era: the start of new one!

25/09/2023 Laurence PisaniClub news

We fought hard to keep our home, but in the end we have to accept that we now face a period of uncertainty as we give the keys back to Maidstone Borough Council tomorrow, and our clubhouse will be in the hands of developers.

Does it mean we are effectively homeless for the foreseeable future? ✅

Does it mean we have to go back to playing our home games at Mote Park for now? ✅

Does it weaken or damage our spirit as a team, as a club, or as a group of mates? ❌

There’s work to do, but we will rise again better than ever. As is evident already this season we do our talking on the rugby pitch, and we are determined to be back in Parkwood and at the heart of our community as soon as possible.

If you’re a member, friend of the club or a passionate member of our community that believes in the power of sport to create opportunities for everyone then you can do your bit. Come and support your team, come and join our post match and social events at The Early Bird in Weavering/Grove Green, be a voice in either setting that shows how important this club is to our area.

Look out for news on all of the above on our socials and our website.
