Our committee works hard to ensure that our club is run with everyone in mind. True to our core tenets of being inclusive, accepting and social, the club is dedicated to making rugby accessible and enjoyable for everyone through effective and efficient governance that gives all of our members a voice.
Our committee is selected via AGM from active club members, and meets once a month throughout the year to discuss club matters and review progress against our Club Development Plan. Click on a member to learn more about their role.
Honorary Committee Members:
Sam Oakley
Sam is a founding member of Weavering Warriors RFC who continued to play for the club right up until the 2021/22 season, when he hung up his boots for good. Sam remains a very active club member and is a constant presence in and around the club
Russ Edwards
Russ is a founding member of Weavering Warriors RFC and continued to crop up in his kit up until 2024/25! Having previously held the role of Chairman, Russ now holds an honorary committee role which means he continues to provide valuable experience to the club on and off the pitch

Jerome Moisan is a long-standing member of the club and a committed player who truly understands our values and culture. As our Safeguarding Officer, he brings integrity, care, and approachability to the role, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved in the club, both on and off the pitch.
